Purse: Imagine the Potential
Intro
This project started from an old purse that was about to be thrown away. The purse had outlived it's usable life. I decided that I would harvest it for parts and one day make it out of leather. One day on the way home I saw an old couch on the curb that was rightfully being thrown away. When I saw the couch I saw building material. I cut out the pieces that were in good condition and proceeded to make the purse.

Process
Step 3: Plan
Decide sequence of operations before starting. I started with the zipper because everything else is simpler once the purse is aligned.
Step 5: Sew
During the sewing process make sure to use coat thread (DO NOT Use just regular thread). You can buy from Michael's or Joan's, try to use the 50% off coupon. The thread was the only thing that I bought for this project.
