Structural Welding (MIG)

When I received six 10M flanges (~1000 lb each), I needed to consolidate the flanges to minimize space. I scavenged the material from old fence posts and made the flange holder shown below. Details of project.

Transporting a drilling spool that weights approximately 3,000 lbs was becoming burdensome and more importantly dangerous. The wooden pallets that the spool arrived in did not last more than a couple of trips. So I decided to make it easier to transport by designing, and welding together a scaffolding to make it easier to transport and handle the drilling spool.
